Ted received a Bachelor
of Arts degree from U.B.C. in 1962 and spent two years teaching
in Dawson Creek before obtaining his law degree from the University
of British Columbia in 1967. He was called to the Bar in 1968
and began his legal practice with Macfarlane and Raibmon in Vancouver.
He moved to Vernon
and in June 1972 became a partner with Davidson Lawyers LLP. Ted
was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1983 and in 1989 he was awarded
the designation of Chartered Arbitrator by the Arbitrator's Institute
of Canada.
Ted has served as a member
of the Canadian Bar Council (British Columbia Branch), president
of the Vernon Bar Association, director of the Downtown Vernon Improvement
Association and secretary of the Interior Basketball Referees Association.
