Michael was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and obtained a Bachelor of Education prior to studying Law at the University of Alberta. He obtained his Law Degree in 2008 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2009. Michael articled with Davidson Lawyers LLP and joined the firm as an Associate.

Michael is a Solicitor and primarily practices in the areas of Business Law, Real Estate, Estate Planning & Administration, Trusts and Estate Litigation. He assists clients with Real Estate transactions, preparation of mortgages, and has experience in many business acquisitions and sales. He works with clients to prepare Wills and other Estate Planning documents, and advises executors and administrators throughout the approval and distribution of Estates. He also practices Estate Litigation and resolution of Estate-related disputes.

Michael enjoys being involved in the Vernon community, and has participated in a number of volunteer organizations including the United Way, and the executive council of the Vernon Bar Association. He is also an active participant in Vernon Chamber of Commerce events. Michael is a bass guitarist in a local lawyer's band, and enjoys hiking, camping, and rugby.
