Brett received his law degree from the University of Western Ontario, was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1988 and in BC in 1995. He began his career in London, Ontario and joined Davidson Lawyers LLP in August 1999, becoming a partner in 2005.

Brett is experienced in Personal Injury & ICBC Claims, Family Law, and Criminal Law. He has acted for both the crown and defence in criminal matters. In addition to Personal Injury & ICBC Claims and Family Law, Brett represents clients involved in Estate Litigation matters.

Brett has held many volunteer board positions and is currently the Vice-President of the Vernon and District Funtastic Sports Society. When not working, Brett enjoys Tai Chi, downhill skiing and horseback riding.
